The haveboard.com redesign has been the best one yet. Haveboard has been online since August 2002, and even earlier as haveboardwillskate.com. If you want to go real throwback, It was onGeocities (R.I.P.) in 1998.

The date and author of the post are now anchored to the top right of every post, and their photo and name will link to their author page.

The footer of each post displays the category and tags names for the post, as well as a comment count.

The Anything Slider from CSS Tricks is integrated with a category. The most recent ten posts in the slideshow category are display. They either pull in the 1st image and resize it or use a custom thumbnail set for the post.

haveboard sidebar haveboard.com The sidebar still has thumbnail images from recent posts, It also has a much more organized sidebar to see what posts people are talking about most in the comments. The form to post comments even got a few tweaks, including “subscribe with commenting” for those who want to watch the conversation of a post’s comments.

I wrote about the site when I launched earlier this month here.
